David Larkin, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Larkin grew up in Kentville, Nova Scotia. He received his BS in Biology in 1996 and his DVM in 2001 from Atlantic Veterinary College. Since then he has practiced in several companion animal practices, as well as in emergency from 2004 – 2010. Dr. Larkin takes a special interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgical procedures. His knowledge and confidence in veterinary medicine allow clients to rest assured that the best possible care and recommendations have been made concerning their pets. Making a difference and providing a high standard of veterinary care is what Dr. Larkin hopes to achieve now, as well as in the future at MTVH.

Dr. Larkin and Dr. McEvoy reside in Hermon with their two daughters and several pets, including Springer Spaniels Ruby and Monster. Outside of the practice, he stays very active, participating in a multitude of physical activities including strength training, swimming, cycling, and endurance events. He also enjoys clay-target sporting events, as well as snowmobiling during the winter months.
